No chance on Perry and NSH already added Boro + Benning so I don't see Hamonic heading to NSH (and he's rumored to be interested in staying in western canada) -- but I wouldn't mind Killorn.

Ultimately, I think the Preds are done with moves this off-season, but we'll see.

Killorn to Nashville might be one of the few trade options Tampa has with M NTC KIllorn, without sending cap to the Tampa. Hamonic seems to be running out options. As you suggest, maybe Nashville is a fit.

No reason not take TB to wood shed in a trade.
Get assets and give minimum back.

It's no secret TB back is against a cap wall.

Preds are not done IF they plan on contending. I think they need some more impact players.

It's becoming increasingly likely based on what Poile/Hynes have been saying and moves by the team (giving out player jersey numbers) that Tolvanen + Tomasino will be with NSH next season. We'll see, but that is the direction they seem to be going. If that is the case, then that puts them at 13 NHL forwards. Maybe they add one more forward, but I wouldn't hold my breath. And I really don't see them changing up their defense anymore than they already have this off-season.

I do agree though, as it stands now, NSH is likely not a playoff team. They could surprise, but I think they're middle of the pack right now and likely on the outside looking in come playoff time.

It’ll be tough going in the Central Division as usual. I expect Colorado Dallas and St Louis to be the front runners. I still think the Preds are better than Chicago Minnesota and Winnipeg. It depends on injuries as always. IF Pekka Rinne performs than I think Nashville will be in the mix for a Wild Card spot. Adding these pieces I put in should get them into the playoffs. Keep in mind Tolvaven and Tomasino can clear waivers for 1-2 years so it’s not out of consideration to add a couple of vets.

I’d be all over TB trying to pry one of those RFAs.

A. TN isn't a tax free state. Their tax breaks are only on investment income.

B. if I was NSH, I'd be requesting the pick go the other way. Sure not giving one up.

My bad. I thought they were tax free. I think Killorn is worth a second round pick. Maybe not.

Killorn is worth a second in a world where TB doesn't need cap space, teams are making money from the gate, and the cap isn't flat.
But we don't live in that world.
