3yrs is buying up all of Barzals rfa years. That’s not great for NYI & LL. He could walk after it ends. If truly any deal of 3 years it tells me Barzal holds the cards even without arb rights. I still believe a trade is needed & not a dump like Boychuk so expecting a 2/7.5m deal.

The isles could trade Komarov + 2nd pick and Cizikas in separate deals. Then bury Boychuck and Hickey in the minors to open off the needed cap space. That if no one takes Boychuck with sweeteners or Ladd can not go on LTIR
