I decline if I’m ANA, this doesn’t make them good enough to justify trading out this much.

Lindholm being only 2 years from UFA and not a long term need for the Jets as an LD makes it a pretty easy no from Winnipeg.

Both the Jets and Ducks would need to be sure they could sign Lindholm and Laine for this to happen and the Jets might as well start shopping Heinola if this happened.

Laine is a RFA at the end of this season, so you're only guaranteed to have him for 2 years, too; I don't see how this is a serious factor for you as we have already heard rumblings that Laine might be happy to move on.

Laine is a RFA after which, if he goes to arbitration, he would be a free agent in two years just like Hampus, so I don't see this as a major consideration. MY sticking point is Troy Terry; I'd much rather send Sonny Milano or even Max Jones than Terry.

Because the Jets own Laine's rights for 3 more years and he's 4 years younger. Plus, Lindholm doesn't play a position of long term need for Winnipeg, so it would definitely be a serious, non-starter issue for Winnipeg.
