I just checked Heinola’s stats not too good. Aatu Raty is barely playing too. Valimaki has good stats but he’s older. A lot of the guys with high pts and are NHL prospects are like 22 years old, guys like Ruotsalainen and Bjorqvist

Yep. Big reason for why most teams try to loan them. Lahti Pelicans are a good spot.

It's the issue with prospects in Euro leagues in general. They aren't developmental leagues like the AHL or Junior leagues. If they don't think a player is the best option in that role, they won't play him. They don't care about how it effects his potential NHL career. It's especially hard to be a prospect in good systems like Ilves or Karpat.

Getting him working under Coach Mann as soon as possible is what's best for Lassi at this stage. He knows how to develop young talent.
