Yes, but blues need keep in mind potential progress of perunovich. He have 2 year contract, maybe he make the team this year, possibly next year. Of course blues can trade scandella at this time but in flat cap in couple years they need to trade some pick for taking this contract. And Dunn have top 4 potential but he need proof it with consistant play. I think 2 years is fine for now.

I’m not saying that they shouldn’t sign him to a 2 year contract, I’m just saying that Pulock costs less than he would have if he didn’t take a contract that walks him to UFA. So on a deal that expires as an RFA, Dunn might get more for how good he is in relation to what Pulock gets on a 2 year deal.
