I think Chabot is better than Werenski, and Theodore.

Hamilton playing with Slavin helps so much. Slavin is the better D imo. Werenski is helped playing with Jones. Theodore and Chabot didn’t play with elite Dmen and neither did Heiskanen or Hughes.

I wish Chabot played with anyone but Zaitsev. When we still had Duchene, Dzingel and Stone he was at a PPG halfway thru the season and then we traded them out and the team couldn’t score anymore so he didn’t get many more pts

And Dahlin... Didn’t Heiskanen get Klingberg?

I know he is better than the last 2, mentally none of them touch Heiskanen yet and that makes Heiskanen the best. But Dahlin is the youngest so I think he gets there.

I think Dougie is a tough one to be that high. He's more a specialist rather than all around dman. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but for best 20 defenseman I think it should be factored in.

I would also say Shea Weber should be on here and I'd replace Ekholm with him. He has much more responsibility and Ekholm is more insulated with Ellis and Josi. Doughty off the list seems like a hit job lol. I'm not the biggest fan tbh, but he is an absolute horse. I would probably take Dougie right off the list. Any defensive situation and he would be last of everyone on this list I would pick even of the guys on the right except Fox. There's just not enough commitment and execution in his own zone for me. Fun debate though!
