Why? SJ are just under the 50 contract limit (48/50) and they already have at least 15 13th forwards... They should have tried to sign a guy who can at least play regularly on a 3rd line like Soderberg. Like their 3rd line is a more than average 4th line on any team in the league. Even Detroit has a better bottom 6...

No idea why they did this. Feels like another "we like you so well pay you" kind of like Brodzinski last year (although he looked like he had a real NHL shot)

I love this guy. He is the least talented player I've ever seen in an NHL game. He's also the single hardest working and most relentless player I've ever seen. He made it to the final cuts in Devils camp a couple years ago and might have made the Flyers roster last season had he not been injured in one of the final preseason games.
