Precious Cup window for a few years due to various favourable contracts & age. Meanwhile Beecher projects a bottom 6 f. Makes sense for them 👍
For Chicago they should retain 50% for a much better return to cue a full rebuild but not a terrible deal
Dallas are effectively Boston's situation so yeah, idk
This analysis is way off. He is not a bottom 6 forward. He wasn't drafted in the 1st to be that, nor is that his current projection. At worse he is charlie coyle at best he is blake wheeler.
Studnicka and Beecher are the planned replacements for Bergeron and Krejci.
You may not think very highly of him, but the Bruins do and they aren't trading him for a guy who is all but done. If they are moving Beecher (they aren't) they are moving him for a guy that will grow with the current young core.
THe belief that the Bruins window is closing is just flat wrong (Pastrnak, McAcoy, Carlo, Debrusk, Kase, Studnicka, Vaakanainen) is a decent place to start for guys 23 or younger as a core. Bergeron and Marchand still have another couple too.
