Could possibly land back in Ottawa I guess. I expected him and Athanasiou to be signed pretty quickly given their age and recent success.

All of these are reasonable. I think Vatanen signs somewhere else though. Most of his points come on the PP and he would be behind Josi and Ellis on the PP in NSH and likely wouldn't get much playing time on the PP there

this was back in feb 2019 but torts said "i dont think he knows how to play" and "he's off the rails"...just absolutely ripped the kid to shreds

At the right price I could see Toronto looking at AA and Soderberg, or even Perry. The first two would likely mean that Kerfoot and/or Holl is gone. It's highly unlikely but I think they'd be nice adds to the team

I agree with all of these aside from Vatanen going to PHI. PHI just got a D-man like Vatanen in Gustafsson this offseason

Toronto should sign Perry and put him, Thornton and Spezza on the same line just to bug the rest of the hockey world.

I genuinely think that would be a great line, if he can come in on a 700k deal like the other vets
