Description
To have an extra dmen, we can trade Lehkonen and call up a forward plus a dmen.

Mete and Juulsen are on LTIR cause I dont think we are keeping them.

if you're proposing trading Lehk, then it's not possible to keep everyone.

Tatar's cap hit was $5.8M, and he's going to take a pay cut on a year deal?

and you have Armia just slotted into the wrong wing as though it doesn't matter.

Any reason why they signed Ylonen to a ELC but not Ikonen?

Following is a copy paste from the last Paul Byron trade proposal. It's just easier to copy paste.

I have to say I do enjoy reading all the different reasons why Ottawa is a good place for the guy you’re trying to get rid of, but the old, he’s from Ottawa, is the weakest. It ranks up there with, your team drafted him, and of course he’s French so Montreal would love to have him. Montreal doesn’t want every French player, and teams aren’t prioritizing local boys for acquisition. If a team drafts a guy, then trades him, they aren’t looking to reacquire, usually. Then there’s the player that was drafted with a traded pick. Just because the pick was a teams before, doesn’t mean they want the guy chosen with it, Nick Ritchie.

Ottawa isn’t interested in Byron, not at three more years, they need roster spots for the young guys coming up.

On capfrienldy Tatar is 5,3 AAV and put Armia on his side and switch him with Toffoli. He can play both wings

What would it take you think to trade him to Ottawa.

Maybe they can buy him out after

oops, my bad was going from memory, and made a mistake, either way, you're giving him a 50k salary increase?.... if he's taking almost no salary increase he'd probably want 6 years then.
though Flat Cap signings have definitely been a little weird, so, who knows?

Toffoli is quoted as being able to play LW, but he's always played RW.... it's the same as when they tried to play Drouin at center, maybe it works, maybe it doesn't.

Hard to say. We Will wait the start of the season and see how it is going.
We also need to sign Suzuki the year after, so maybe extend Tatar on a 1 year deal and then he will hit free agency with a possible cap going up, so get a little more money.
