Toropchenko in his 4 NHL relevant years still hasn't posted an impressive scoring rate so I'm not sure why aside from the obvious free assets from a cap unload

I don't have high hopes for Toropchenko, and they could leave him out and I would STILL JUMP ON IT. Getting Bozak for a 6th would be huge for Ottawa. A right hand pivot (which we don't have other than White) who could easily play in our top 6 and on our PP to pad his stats and then flip at the deadline for a 3rd if we retain half his salary. It's a super easy and eager yes from me!

anything at the 2nd round threshold they match. They would consider it if they get a 1st and 3rd back. Anything north of 6.5 they probably don't match
