See, the problem is using ambiguous terms like good/bad. Because they mean different things to different people, because I would say meeting expectations is "good", especially with how high Flames fans are on Dube.
Regardless, the Flames don't even remotely consider this deal, it is awful for them. Dube is starting to show top 6 potential and entrenched himself in the middle 6 this year. Jensen's contract alone makes him a non-starter and even if we could afford him he's not worth Dube's potential to us and Axel definitely doesn't come close to closing that gap.
The only Jensen trade that remotely makes sense for Calgary is Derek Ryan and even though value wise it is a fit, contract wise due to term it isn't because adding a player with term could **** us when Dube and Valimaki are RFAs next off-season; and we really can't afford to lose another PK forward.
