Quoting: Stanley_Cup_To_Manhattan
Yep. Casey should play with Eichel you think?
I after many iterations, I came up with this line up
https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/2082755
It includes signing Ben Hutton and Craig Anderson.
Skinner and Eichel did very well, so I put them together.
I had not thought of Thompson on the top line but his big body may open up opportunities for Jeff and Jack.
I guess Casey would do well there as well, but coming off his Calder Cup performance and brief stint in Rochester Thompson may be a better goal scorer.
Hall with Cozens and Staal could be as good as our top line 4 years ago.
I separate Hall from Eichel.
Hall gets more assists than Eichel 0.613 v 0.593, I am not thrilled with two playmakers on the same line.
Olofsson-Kahun-Reinhart would be a better second line than we had in at least 9 years.
I know Hoffman would be a great addition, but aiming a little lower, Hutton would fit right in.
Signing Anderson would give Buffalo a third option in the nets.
I can only dream as you did about Hoffman.
Jeff and Jack repeat their magic from 2018-'19 and Jeff wins the Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy.
Hall will be playing for a contract, is it not possible he repeats his Hart Memorial Trophy performance.
Is it not possible that Cozens with Staal and Hall puts up a Calder Trophy performance.
Olofsson finds a new home with Sam and Dominic and puts up more than 20 goals while Sam also playing for a contract has a career year.
But with Krueger behind the bench who knows,
He puts Hall and Eichel together and spend so much time trying to set up each other that golden opportunities are lost.
Maybe he makes Eakin the #2 Center and demotes Olofsson to the fourth line as he suffers from sophomore jinx.
Skinner is demoted to the third line with Mittelstadt at center and Okposo on RW.
Staal becomes the fourth line center with Girgenson on his wing.
LOL who knows.
