Hmmm. Gibson is pretty kick-ass and his contract is very team-friendly so I like that; not sure that's enough to get the Ducks to part with him, though. I feel like for 7 years of Landy you could knock off $1M, maybe $1.5M. The long-term outlook is pretty good. Really hope the cap goes up by the time Mac and Makar are up for their deals.

I would say Ducks decline but other than that I like everything and it all looks very realistic too! Donskoi would be a nice fit in Buffalo

everything looks good tbh, i think Landeskog contract is exactly what hes worth. I think the only thing is that it would take more to get Gibson, like at least an A prospect or 2 B+ prospects

The negotiations will be a fight! I wouldn't be surprised to see the Avs want him to take a hometown discount, ala MacKinnon. It will, probably, end up like a Brendan Gallagher situation. They'll be a lot of huff, and puff, but Landy will be paid what he's worth!

Gibson on the Avs not giving up Byram or Newhook is straight killer, but I don’t know that that gets him.

You are thinking too much about EK being a team player. No, it is very very doubtful that Seattle takes EK. But that does NOT matter.

Players have NMC for a reason they don't want even the slightest chance of moving. It's called using your rights in your contract. MA Fleury waived because he wanted to leave and it was a opportunity. Why would Johnson waive when he has no idea what would then happen to him?!?

What you are essentially saying with EK waiving won't mean anything is the same as saying the other Johnson, Tyler Johnson, waiving his NTC to every team in the NHL is meaningless because nobody will take him on that cap hit.
