I think the bottom 4 defense is suspect. This team is missing a few of the best value contracts around the league imo (like Ekholm, for instance)

No, you are missing a lot of young players on entry/level contracts that could get your team 4-5 superstars. Plus them. Add in guys like Dahlin,C.Maker, E.Peterson, Miro Heiskanen, Brady Tkachuk, Scevhnikov, Alexis Laffy. ETC all for 800-900k and have them play on the best 3-4th lines ever and have your top 6 filled with superstars. And your top 4 D superstars. Imagine C.Maker and Dahlin are your bottom pairing on D. Both for a combined 1.8M..lol. And your 3rd line being B.Tkachuk/E.Perterson/Scevhnikov and Put A.Lefreniere on your 2nd line LW..lol.
