Halifax is the only city that could support an NHL team and even that's fairly iffy.

And they suck, and they should be moved north.

Videotron Centre is so NHL ready. And the team can actually make money in Quebec City. I wonder if this pandemic finally shows the NHL how much more dependable Canadian franchises are long-term, and that they can finally be convinced that the move back to Quebec is in their interest. Things are so different from 1995 Quebec.

Lets do it! I hope it happens, I don't know why the nhl wants to keep the yotes in arizona, they lose money every year.

It's 1 million for the whole province. I'd say that's enough, but I guess Saskatoon only has 300 k, so that's why they don't want to.

Saskatoon has about 250k, and Regina has about 215k.

Unfortunately it's a 2 1/2 hour drive between the two. Halifax has that in the immediate area.

definitely Houston over any Canadian city right now. A metro area of 7 million people who have supported hockey in the past...it wouldnt be a hard move

But when a kid is this bad, and doesn't even apologize in person. This is a different level. This kid should never play professional sports

Now I believe there should be some sort of grace, but If Miller shows no remorse or any sort of apology, he should be kicked to the curb.

Videotron Centre doesn't have the best location, ideally, it is away from downtown but it's close enough comparatively speaking in regards to other arenas around the league.
The arena is better than 90% of current NHL rinks. Rogers Place, PPG Paints and Videotron centre would be my top 3. Quebec city has also cleaned up quite a bit since the mid 1990's and is affluent especially in boroughs like Ste-Foy. You wont find a cleaner, more cultured and hockey crazy city in Canada. I adore Quebec City!! The ferry from over in Levis to Old Town that runs all day and night, best boardwalk in Canada. The numerous National Parks up to the Saguenay an hour North. It has everything! Shocking the improvements in the last 20 years there. Montreal is a dirty mess, in comparison. Many ppl are moving out of the Montreal area with the pandemic to that part of Quebec including some of my family next month. The timing couldn't be better.

The whole area from Quebec City to Saguenay is so beautiful. As a Canadian who doesn't care about the cold, I would much rather live in Quebec and be in that region than in Ottawa or Montreal. But then again these are millionaires who like the sun so I can't say what is attractive or not to them haha. But they sure would have a great fanbase and a city moving in a good direction.

i mean the Quebec city winters are notoriously brutal with the wind chill from the Fleuve. I hated it there in winter when I was younger, but It's just so beautiful in the Summer. There is really nowhere else that I'd rather be. The city is so alive with festivals and the spirit of the locals. I think the NHL'rs mostly care about what schools are available for their children, Quebec education system makes that quite complicated. With such a push, for French, in formal education and the wives won't enjoy the harsh climate. The players, all would love it as former Nords did, too. What a jersey!

the Aeros area pretty beloved...from the WHA days to the AHL team...who were one of the leagues best attendance draws for years. If they bring back the Aeros name again, its a slam dunk. Its the owner of the Rockets who wants an NHL team as well. They are a pretty well ran organization so full faith if they bought the yotes and relocated them, it would be a successful franchise
