I've set the team up for a rough 16-17 and 17-18, but the depth of defensive prospects and high draft picks for scoring should keep this from becoming the infinite rebuild.

Larsen and Miller are straight-up rentals. NYR gives up a good defensive prospect for a second-line winger, and getting rid of Glass gives them a little more room to make another deal. Virtanen goes for a 1st and a high scoring young player who can't get time in Detroit, and Detroit gets a young forward who doesn't need to be protected in return. The LA and Pittsburgh deals are intended to be deadline deals for cap reasons. I may have badly undervalued Sbisa.

I assumed that the Sedins, Burrows, and Eriksson were untouchable. I've also assumed that Alex Biega will reach the required number of games to be expansion draft-eligible, and that Sven Baertschi will be taken by Vegas.
