Rangers aren't interest in trading for Kane or Toews. Makes zero sense right now. Let another team haul up for them.

I mean Toews at 50% and Toews at 100% might be two different planets in conversation. To upgrade from Strome to Toews for 3 years for only 500K more (and less than Strome would get in a 3 year deal) would be a dream. That being said Chicago laughs at this deal. Like at 50% retention you need one of the A prospects and the 2021 first to even get the package convo started. Like Krav & Robertson & 2021 1st and then ask chicago what they want from the lower tiers.

Now if you take the whole 10.5, then you can get him for peanuts.

Im over the fun of figuring out Toews trade value with 33% retained, let alone 50%. Was fun while it lasted.
