NY Barzal - Haha Lou - updated

Créé par: PeterK
Équipe: 2020-21 Rangers de New York
Date de création initiale: 22 oct. 2020
Publié: 22 oct. 2020
Mode - plafond salarial: Basique
Description
The Barzal offer sheet should happen! How awesome would that be?

The Nylander trade, never going to happen but you have to make space for Lafreniere now or in a year or two. Kreider in my opinion is the guy that will get traded in a couple years. But I know nothing. The prospect is a RD on the verge of NHL time so I think the Leafs would like him.

Gm's everywhere are furloughing and laying off employees because there simply isn't enough money to go around and yes, teams rebuilding want players, but they're not gonna be like "lets lose a couple of firsts for a 10 million player!!!!" Nonsense

Melnyk never would but it would make sense for Ottawa. They really don’t have any need for more prospects and really should start adding players.

Leafs likely say no. Unless your offering up someone like Fox, I don't think the leafs give you Nylander

I just find it so frustrating that people don't understand the ramifications of the pandemic. Maybe I'm just frustrated with the pandemic. But god Islander fans everywhere are like WE TRADED TOEWS SO NOW WE CAN SURELY AFFORD HOFFMAN cause theyre dumb, and now we have this guy suggesting teams are willing to give up picks for an eight digit salary in a flat cap. It just simply wont happen. Everyone frustrates me now

Islander fans.

No one has space to OS Barzal, no one......except for a hand full of teams who are rebuilding and they definitely wouldn't want a young 1C who is entering his prime. So no one will OS him.

Also Islander fans

Moving Boychuck, Komarov, Ladd, Clutterbuck, Bailey, Leddy etc will he easy! There are lots of teams with space!

Do you guys hear yourselves?

😂😂😂 yes new jersey would definitely OS barzal with hughes and Hischier as their top 6 centers - good one!

Let’s see who would be a better pickup - a 3C like cizikas with 1 year left or a middle 6 player like johnson with 4 years left @ 5 mill per - see I can do it too!

Because moving one of them to the wing is such a bad idea. You are such a clown

Why are you getting defensive 😂😂😂

I don’t know if you knew this but both hughes + Hischier skill sets are both more suited for playing center and the devils have acknowledged that - but go off lol

Great, so why hasn't it happened?

I think it's more likely someone trades for Barzal. It won't be as good a return as he would deserve but it'll likely be more doable than trading one of your many terrible contracts and Lou definitely thinks older guys are better so he is likely more inclined to do something like that than trade your entire future to make room for a Barzal. At this point its going to cost an insane amount to get one of the I'd say 2 teams with space to take on your bad contracts. You and Tampa are screwed

This is a pretty poor attempt at a troll considering the one move they’d have to make to sign barzal is buying out Leddy after their 2nd buyout window opens. Barzal is the first priority

And no centre has ever played wing before. Lol Stamkos, Draisaitl, even McDavid has spent lots of time on the wing depending on the situation and other linemates.

Ask yourself this, would Barzal in any way, hurt New Jersey? Of course not but when has reality ever stopped you before

That is what the Islanders are literally going to do. Pay Barzal and then trade several firsts to unload bad contracts.

Wasn't Leddy easily worth a 2nd.....then a 3rd....then you definitely won't have to retain but hes worth an asset. Now hes a buyout. I wonder what all your other projections will turn into?

It really doesn't matter, regardless your cap situation is a train wreck and the team is at its peak. I just love hearing your excuses, moving guarantees and overall bitterness.

It was reported that isles took calls on Leddy, but decided to move toews instead (because of trotz) - but if they can’t move boychuk , Leddy will be a desperation move because his contract is extremely buyout friendly - common sense!

Total, several firsts total. Since you have several bad contracts that will need to move for you to keep what you need. And every year you are going to have another player who will hamper your cap since half your team is on the wrong side of 30 with term, or will soon be 30 with long term. It's a dumpster fire.

Keep it up with the wishful thinking buddy! The leafs are the Dallas Cowboys of the NHL - your star players don’t want it enough and you still have questionable defense and goaltending. I can’t wait till the leafs miss the playoffs and boomer leafs fans call for dubas to be fired 😂

Oh the Dallas Cowboy bull**** again. Just the usual talk as if TO has been at the top for a decade with nothing to show for it. Apart from them being still in very early stages of rising. But as usual reality is lost on you. Just a poor sad, bitter, adult baby.

Early stages of rising lmao - 2 of your top 4 D are over 30 and Andersen is on the decline. Dubas went all in on the worst “grit” players in the NHL
