Tampa would take that and run, But Point will probably come in around $9 mil per Landeskog around $7 mil per and Makar around $8.5 or $9 mil per good luck with that.

Point is going to be on such a good contract for the Bolts, they will look to trade Stamkos before him (and there are bound to be takers on that). I just don't see how they have a conversation without Makar as an insistence (Which obviously the Avs wouldn't want to do for good reason). So I don't see it. Yes the Bolts are under pressure, but when there are 10 better avenues for the Bolts to take before this, this just doesn't make too much sense.

Bolts would pay to move TJ, Killorn, Palat, etc before they move Point unless Makar is going to TB. Yeah the value here is nice but you dont trade a young 1C for futures, especially as a cup contending team.

COL isn’t trading either Byram or Newhook much less both of them in the same trade. I get it’s for fun but that is just dumb and doesn’t work as the incomplete roster shows.

Definitely doesn't make sense to trade two young players you're counting on to be contributors at a good price for years to come for a guy you're going to have to give a massive contract to in a few years. He's a very good player but he doesn't make sense in Colorado at this time.

You dont trade a byram and newhook for a #2 centre.. not that point isnt a great player but hes not MacKinnon. If you're trading those guys you're looking for like a seth jones or gibson or something

If you’re trading both you better be getting when if the 5 or 6 best players in the league. Jones imo is overrated but Gibson is the bomb but I wouldn’t be trading both of them for Gibson.

If you wanted a goalie and that's what it took, then you pay that for gibson, if you believe in him, hes the best goalie in the league...

Having said that i want both players to be avs for then next 20 years
