Full Disclosure: I think this is very unrealistic. I highly doubt Toews would waive let alone to Calgary. However I don't think the value here is that bad. Maybe a condition on the 2nd like it upgrades to a 1st if Flames make the Western Conference Finals or something

I definitely wouldn't say he isn't going anywhere. He seems pretty pissed that Stan has publicly announced a rebuild. I honestly cant see him being moved but he's probably the most moveable player in a rebuild scenario like NYR. Knowing Toews (not that I know him personally or anything but my family is from Chicago and very big Hawks fans) he absolutely hates the idea of loosing and would much rather chase another cup on a different team then purposely tank and only become a mentor. He is a true competitor to heart and always wants to win.
