Yeah, Id probably say him and Doughty can be interchanged, theyre both pretty close, but karlssons prime was definitely the best. Really unfortunate he never won one.
Say what you want about Subban but his prime was on level with the tops guys on this list. Burns and Hedman both peaked higher than guys on the top 10 list. Pietrangelo, Giordano and Suter are typical guys that have longevity but not *that* high of a peak, and to me Keith is of the same mould, except better than those 3. Weber and Carlson are too high imo.
But I think it's very close between them. Karlsson was the best player in Ottawa for a long time and he was constantly in the news and getting that attention. With Keith he had Kane, Towes Crawford and even Hossa for a while in front of him at least as far as the press was concerned. Unless you lived in Chicago or watched a majority of Blackhawks games you didn't hear a whole lot about Keith. I'd say he is in the top 5 with the players you have listed here.
