Oilers pass

Thought they could use a rhd under team control with possibility of losing Larsson and Barrie

Rebuilding teams don't need 30 year old players and shouldn't give up picks unless they are making themselves better long term. Maybe another team?

Don’t need a RHD. We have too many as it is.

Was trying to think of who he'd waive to, thought maybe la could use some good players with some age to pair up with the youth. I know they have kopitar and brown but killorn could play down the lineup a bit.

Yes, but not with Bouchard pretty much ready to break into the league and certainly not for Jones who is a better skating, better passing d-man than Cernak. We need puck movers and more mobile D.

Kopitar, Carter, Brown = 205 playoff games between those three, how much more vet experience do you need until they are undermining the youth movement of players who are ready to play this year? The team is ready to play with what they have as they start to leave their rebuild, if you have young prospects or picks they can help you clear space otherwise they aren't making long term bets on aging players (that worked out pretty awful for them with Kovy).

Is carter still NHL caliber st this point? Killorn is definitely performing at a Mich higher level than Carter or kovalchuk at this point

Yes he's done everything we have asked of him 17 goals on a shortened season, wears a letter, coaching the new centers is completely acceptable for him. Do you really think the Kings will be pumped to have Killorn at 34 and fading while their compete window is opening?

Cool then, you guys should keep him. We're holding off for cap dumps so we can get picks.
