No one is scared. The trade stated it’s a steal and it isn’t once you pay Sergachev plus you have to pay Coburn it quickly diminishes your cap plus helps Tampa. If Tampa would retain on Coburn then it looks better for Florida. All depends on how high Zito values Sergachev and if he thinks it’s worth 1 yr of Coburn. I personally wouldn’t mind it, I usually answer from the team’s view not my own.

It is a steal! Who cares about 1 year of Coburn. It’s only one year at a cheep price. Sergachev is very good, and I would do it in a heartbeat if I was Florida! Cap space is essential ask all the teams trying to move players to get under the cap. It’s clear that Zito wants cap flexibility. Again personally I’d do it for the reasons you stated but I’m answering under the teams possible view (devil’s advocate)
