I think this is very close. Maybe swap Jones with a C.

Honestly, WIN might win this trade IMO. They fill a huge need and don't lose that much scoring going from Laine to Rakell (who I love)

Yeah this would be the only trade that i can see WIN winning, Most of the rest not so much.

Honestly not a bad offer for Winnipeg, Pretty sure Chevy says yes. But i'm not so sure why Murray would do it.

Possibly, Murray might accept it or might not.

I think this is a win but in a different way. They win this because of the cap space they will have the next off season. They could dominate the market and bring in some g
ood players for cheap

Murry does it because Laine beside Zegras would be a hell of a show

Both get something good, a 40-50 goals scorer and a potential top4 in Niku, Winny receive players that strength their weak position

Can't argue there, Laine would make any Center look good. Honestly i'd be shocked that Laine would be moved to any Western Conference team. If he's moved it's probably to the East.

Unless they all know something we don't *cough cough Canadian division. Then he might be fine with a West team

Value is decent, but with Lindholm only having 2 years to UFA it is highly doubtful Winnipeg does it.

Even if they both UFA in 2 years, that trade would bring Winnipeg as the top team for 2 years without a doubt, with heinola maybe here this season or surely full time next season they will let hampus leave, but Winnipeg should do everything to win now, they have every piece

Canadian division is for only one season, Then they'll realign next season when Seattle is added.

Quite sure Ottawa declines. Our coach loves Connor Brown and he's absolutely a piece we need to hang onto until our kids force him into the bottom 6.

What do you mean high UFA in 2 years? Lindholm is UFA in 2 years. Laine is RFA for 3 more years. Is that what you meant?

It is good value, but Lindholm is LD which isn't a long term need for the Jets and from everything Winnipeg has said on trades, they want young players with term back, so I don't think they would see that as a fit at this time.

The Jets aren't in any rush to trade Laine if they even trade him at all, so I don't think Laine moves unless Chevy gets exactly what he wants. At this point, there is a far greater chance Laine is moved next off season than now. Most teams already have their rosters set, so there aren't as many suitors for Laine which would probably make for a lesser return now.
