Wow that's a insanely good deal for the Canucks. Kid was on pace for 45pts over 82 games last year. On the flip side if he has another strong year and things start to rebound financially, he could get a solid contract next off-season that's potentially more than trying to cash in now.

As for the long prediction posted above- Leivo isnt signed by anyone. Ferland is likely to be on the LTIR, and who says they want to resign Edler and Pearson at those values?
