The eventual Russell-Larsson third pair is pure nightmare fuel. Trade them both and just run five forwards for 12 minutes a night.

I sure hope they don't play archibald left wing. They need to cap dump Chiasson and put archie there. Then you either move nygard up or get another LW such as dominic kahun.

Bouchard isn't a lock to make the team, in fact I'd say it's more likely he doesn't since Barrie was signed. Bear obviously needs to get signed, but otherwise there are UFA guys that could come in on the cheap and improve the roster - Kahun, Sheary, Granlund, Haula, etc. for forward. Del Zotto, Hutton, Chara, Greene and Koekkoek should be given a call to see if one will take a 1-year deal for around $1M as insurance on the left side.

Up until last year Draisaitl WAS one of them. McDavid has had Draisaitl most of the time right through to December 31, 2019.
