I dont disagree. But that why I have a 3rd added and even retained a bit. Looking at Fleurys stats last year he is a back up at best and should be making around 2 mill. Now obv he has more value then that. It just seemed like a good overall fir for both sides. I'm sure some people will disagree, but thats the beauty of this page.

2- If this is true, Okposo is then worth more than Fleury for some reason (there must be a reason not known to the general public);

3- I love this trade for Buffalo, I think that's EXACTLY what they need. Kinda like the Staal trade : a good respected goaltender with a very good reputation that can bring credibility to an otherwise kinda ridiculous organization. I think that's what the new GM wants to bring - credibility to this team. Stall, Hall, and Fleury would add that IMO.

At this point its not about the players themselves. VGS tried giving away MA Fleury for free and no one took him. This is about a strategic business move for both teams.

using your logic, if Buffalo offered Okposo to every team in the league, no one would want him either so you are back to square one and MAF is still worth more than Okposo.
