Ottawa does not need more 4th liners. They have plenty as is, and they don't need those guys filling roster spots ahead of playing guys like Balcers who have more upside to be tapped. Drop gambrell and Sorenson and replace with a 3rd.

Well Sorensen's gotta go back in the deal cap-wise from SJ's pov and it wouldn't be that big a deal for OTT since they're barely at the floor but I see what you're saying regarding your point with OTT having enough bottom-sixers so no need for Gamby, that's fair.

Based on all that I think a Tierney for a 2nd+3rd+Sorensen gets the job done. I'll edit and reflect that in the proposal.

If you get a SJS 2nd for Tierney, not to mention with a SJS 3rd, I wouldn't mind taking on Sorensen, who you could flip at the deadline
