Description

So as with anything Jets fans are going to want more for Laine and the canes are going to want him for less. So what I am going to do is list everything the canes would be willing to move and lets see if we can hash something out that makes sense for both teams. If we can agree on a deal ill post another team getting the cap to work.

Player i would move: Skjei, Gardiner, Pesce, Trocheck, anyone from the bottom 6 pretty much
Prospects i would move: Bean, Bokk, Suzuki
Picks i would move: 2021 1st, and probably 2 2nds

I'll start with an offer of Skjei, trochek, Bokk, 2021 1st

With Statsny and Perfetti in the fold I don’t see a need at C anymore. I’d still take Necas cause he could play wing, or vice versa with Perfetti. I’d say Necas, Pesce, 2021 1st. Could throw in a Niku or something

That’s why he’s a perfect target. I understand Aho/Svechnikov being untouchable, but they’re going to have to give up something serious. They can’t have one of the best young goal scorers in the world without giving something legit back

I get that but that’s what Pesce is. Pesce and necas I think is a just straight up an overpay. If that’s the price I think is just simply a nonstarter for the canes. It’s just not a deal that makes any sense for the canes at least from my perspective, I don’t think the canes get better making that move

Im for that as well, but if we can get Laine to work its a home fun. Personally i would def be in favor of Hoffman on a short term deal if we could move money. The issue is every team is trying to move money right now, and moving money next summer would be easier
