BOS fans highly over value Studnicka. He's a 2nd round prospect with some skill. But we have all seen that before. Even boston fans. They over hyped Donato .... look how that turned out.

this right here. There are a lot of 2nd round picks with a name, some skill and a lot of hype. Truth is, most of them don't make it, some of them scrap together a career but nothing the hype around them. And rarely does one break out.
BOS fans use to rave about how he was worth more than a 1st. He isn't, never was.
Every fan base does this on these types of guys. But those of us who have watched hockey for some time know this story. We've seen it time and time again.
It's why these kind of guys lose value fast. Sometimes it's worth the risk, others it's best to jump off the boat while getting on them is good. But the reality is fans over value, which leads to them hanging on to guys they should expect to see moved.

I remember things differently. There was definitely some excitement when he came in after the olympics and got his feet wet. He scored a bunch. The next season he might have been the worst player i’ve ever seen in the NHL, and it was crazy obvious he was useless. I thought most in boston got it.
