It's not a very good draft and our prospect line is pretty good all things considered. Dach and Boqvist may not be prospects anymore, but Boqvist...the older guy...just turned 20 like 2 months ago. The Hawks have one of the youngest teams in the NHL. If they can get a #1RW with 6 years left...A guy they know and know he's NOT a center... From the hawks perspective this would be a HUGE win IMO. This would be Re-Tooling. This would make the Core happy.

Please do not bring Schmaltz back, guy couldn’t produce with Kane as one of his most consistent line mates.

Schmaltz is fast. Something the Hawks need. We won't EVER try him out at center. Hawks NOW have plenty of centers. Schmaltz is a creative offensive forward and a VERY underrated defender. The reason he didn't gel with Kane is because they're both RWers. Schmaltz isn't and should never play center.

***EDIT*** His speed and playmaking ability with Kubs Snipe and Toews possession...crazy good potential IMO.

We all know Stan loves himself some former Blackhawks players. Though I wonder if it's too soon to bring back Schmaltz since he's not past his prime yet (LOL).

I like the idea of the trade. It's an interesting idea and AZ does need to move some salary.
