Beats me. I'm not a Flyers fan. Only thing I know is that he's not as good as he was thought to be.

Pair him with Subban and you have a pair that is good offensively but terrible defensively.

They can play cards in the press box, while Smith and Walsh rise to superstardom.

I'd rather have Provy than Laine. Both have had inconsistencies at times and Laine's goal scoring ability is undeniable when he's on, but for me the Flyers know what they get with Provy every game. He's all effort all the time, and buys in to the team. Laine complains and doesn't always give max effort. Provorov is on a long term contract as well. The Flyers would have to give Laine a huge contract that he hasn't been consistent enough to deserve. I'd rather have Provorov and type of player he is on on my top pairing D than Laine's goal scoring to be completely honest. I think Chuck and AV feel that way as well.
