Yes, we'd love to take your crap for our top-pairing RHD. And you get to sign him for far less than he's worth, that's awesome for Toronto! He must really want to play for a powerhouse like the Maple Leafs with all their recent success.
The Islanders say absolutely not. There is nothing there that get them to move him
As things stand they don't have the money to sign him. I'm giving a replacement in Holl (sub-par granted), cheap d in dermott, good prospect in brooks and a 2nd which is a smaller cap hit and more than they would get from an OS.
How about Holl+Liljegren+2nd or Holl+1st < both seem more than reasonable
No way Hyman goes unprotected! The brass and fans love him!
Don't worry, we would just throw stuff at SEA until they agree to take Dell

I'd go up to 5m/5.5mx7 to get it done and make room elsewhere. As for not wanting to do it that's completely understandable but how are you planning to sign both him and Barzal with no room? Until you solve that puzzle then you'll continue to see offers on CF

Rumors of Boychuk being moved and Komarov potentially being shopped. Even if we just trade Boychuk and sign Barzal to a deal less than $7M and Pulock to a deal less than $6M, we're good.
Oilers trade is actually not bad. Pending if we can clear up some of our crappier contracts.
Also, I'm not sure why campbell isnt played more, has a career .916 albeit at a smaller sample size, and Engvall is a HUGE PK-ing well skating bottom 6 guy.

Pulock for less than 6 is possible I agree but I think Barzal for less than 7 would be a massive stretch

According to Dubas"We won't have to protect Brodie(Tavares & Muzzin)" since, they have NMC meaning, they can't go anywhere until free agency. Brodie(2025) Muzzin("25) Tavares("26)

Not on a two-year bridge deal. Almost all of his equals (i.e. Point, Tkachuk, Laine, Boeser) all signed two-three year deals for $7M or less. Barzal signing a bridge deal is absolutely an option.

Interesting, didn't realise this. Well in that case that would solve that particular problem.
NYI declines easy, not nearly close in value return for them.
Campbell >>> Dell
Kerfoot >> Acciari
Kerfoot has 2 seasons (out of 3) with 40+pts.. Acciari has collected 15+ points in a season once....
Re: the kerfoot point, what is lost in an arguable downgrade with Acciari is gained x2 by having the cap space to fit in Pulock. Personally I'd rather have a solid top 4 D with a slightly weaker/cheaper 3C. In terms of the FLA trade though, would take a pick+Acciari to blance it out.

Pulock for Marner ,so Leafs F off
No need to get so triggered, we're just throwing around ideas and as I stated in earlier comments willing to upgrade to a 1st/throw in extra. Hardly an insulting offer.
