im not sure, lassi is a fairly high end RHD prospect, i figured with tampas cap crunch this would be better than the second they would get from an OS, but the sens get an immediate upgrade for now and a few years to make it worth

How about trading Zaitsev (Ottawa retains $1m, so $3.5m) + Gaborik's $4.875m LTIR contract + either Chlapik or Balcers (approx. $0.750m) for RFA Cernak and Cedric Paquette (last year of contract @ $1.650m)? (Gaborik + Chlapik/Balcers - Paquette) would give TBL nearly $6m in additional cap space, assuming Zaitsev @ $3.5m essentially offsets Cernak.

That is why a fair trade would be cap-strapped TBL gaining third pairing Zaitsev and nearly $6 million in cap space and Ottawa gaining first pairing Cernak

eh, its still too much for tampa to give up while taking back zaitsev. they can ship off cernak and paquette for probably like balcers and a pick, but they wouldnt want to take back a bottom pairing (at best) d man making 3.5 for 4 years.
