Finally a Contender

Description
Kulak could be dealt for a pick if deemed necessary. For now, Kulak/Romanov/Mete would fight for the last 2 spots on D.
Weal is traded to clear cap space (he could be waived at the start of the year as well) and Lindgren is deal as Montreal has a surplus of AHL-calibre goaltenders (4).
A UFA could be signed to replace Vejdemo as 13th forward.
Transactions

MTL
  1. Choix de 4e ronde en 2021 (COL)
NSH
  1. Weal, Jordan
  2. Choix de 7e ronde en 2022 (STL)
Détails additionnels:
After losing Granlund, Bonino and Smith, while only adding Kunin, Nashville could use some forwards, as they only have 10/12 forwards right now. They will probably sign a scoring winger like Hoffman to secure one of those two spots. The last spot could be filled like Weal, who could solidify their 4th line with his versatile style of game.
2.
MTL
  1. Choix de 6e ronde en 2021 (CHI)
CHI
  1. Lindgren, Charlie
Détails additionnels:
With only Subban, Delia, Lankinen and Tomkins as the signed goaltenders and with Chicago set to have Subban and Delia as their NHL goalie tandem this season, they could use a semi-reliable call-up option at G that is more experienced than Lankinen, who isn’t NHL-ready. Lindgren is a solid #3 G that could start in the AHL and who could easily be called up during injuries.

Lindgren had an .893 save percentage in the AHL. I dont think anyone is going to give up anything for him

He’s a 3rd goalie. He has played ok as a backup in MTL. Chicago does not have a call-up option. Anyway, he’s probably getting dealt as we have 4 AHL goalies lol.

Lankinen is a better option than him. If he cant get above a .900 in the AHL, what makes you think he could do well in the NHL?

I agree with moving weal & lindgren. You may need to move kulak and put in Juulsen. If healthy he’s a solid 6 dman and good on pk. You may also need to move Byron. A smart gm keeps 2.5 M in cap space should injuries arise.

Agreed, but I just wanted to do the bare minimum.

When he played on the 2017-18 Habs, he had a .908 SV% when he was the backup. Lankinen should stay in the AHL to develop. Even if you call up Lankinen instead, it’s still a good idea to have a decent AHL starter.
