Also, I think Habs will be lucky if Seattle will take Chiarot, they will have the pick of the litter from all teams trying to clear cap. Odds are they take one of the young cheaper guys (Fleury is my guess) unless Habs sweeten the pot to take salary, because other teams will.

Add back Chiarot to the roster, and everything blows up.

I think they can find some happy medium for the Gallagher contract for sure. If they went 5 years give him 1 more year (likely close to retirement) at 6.5 and KK will definitely be signed for enough years to keep him Rfa after this contract I don’t see him making 6 mil. 4.5 would be more realistic even if he puts up 40-50 points this year. I would definitely pay Seattle to take Edmundson for sure. Has to be Edmundson to help free cap and term. Chairot contract will only have 1 more year and they can get out of that if they need to after.
