What a great signing. A NHL caliber goalie who will obviously start the season in the AHL with the Marlies but someone you can play if injury or bad performance from either of the two goalies already signed. It's cheap and a 1 year deal that doesn't handcuff you. Great signing.

Could be worse. If an emergency comes you don't have to sell your house or worse to see a doctor in Canada. At least if your sick you get seen! Try living on peanuts and having to pay a yearly premium just to have basic health insurance....
