Like Kahun, but would rather keep Kerfoot than sign Haula, even with the difference. At Kerfoot will play in his own zone. And I would rather the bottom six be good defensively.

I think the leafs have about 12 3rd liners already signed. Leafs may need to move on from engvall or move kerfoot for a cheaper 3c depending on rfa contracts but other than that we appear to be done adding. Unless they are coming cheap.

Paying to move Holl seems like poor asset management.

I think the leafs will keep all their Dmen and roll them in and out of the lineup. With injuries it shouldn’t be too long till we are thin back there...

seems Dubarelli ( till now ) built the Team that can get past first Round ( hopefully if TBL will have to sell to much and Krug wont toss around our "superstars" in his own end anymore) but then again....FLA, BUF and even MTL went pretty good in upgrading also....so maybe there wont even be a need to worry about that infamous 1st Round.

If the Leafs move cap such as Kerfoot or Holl, it very likely will be a downgrade on talent. The Holl trades I don't understand, hard to get better value at 2m X 3 for any quality Dman. Leafs would be hard pressed to move Kerfoot for someone better, and then if Tavares or Matthews got injured who plays big minutes at 2C?

I know your not on board with Andersen trade but moving him makes sense

I'd trade him to Hawks for Murphy 1 for 1 and then move 2nd rounder plus for Korpisalo.

The value is fair on the Kerfoot trade but I don't think we get fair value for him at this point.

What's your thought process on the CGY deal?
