Great value trade for VAN. Either Ferly stays on LTIR for cap savings or Jimbo needs to make another trade, but this is a good deal.

This helps Vancouver so so so much. a 3rd round pick for Schmidt is a steal amongst all steals.

It really depends what Benning is willing to do. I know he said he doesn’t want to deal picks to move bad contracts, but he should look long and hard if there’s an opportunity to move Eriksson with no retention.
