I still wouldn't trade away Dunn. Steen on LTIR and should retire. Trade away Bozak, and probably trade away Scandella and we would be good.

Unprotected 1st and a team that has won 2 of the last 4 lotteries. Hard to blame them - but also I wouldn't want to do it from the STL side unless you could guarantee that pick would be in the top 10 so it goes both ways haha.

An unprotected 2021 first for a team that’s likely to finish in the bottom 7-10 teams (or worse) with a contending timeline of 2-3 years away. 2021 draft is stocked with defenseman- I’d bet one of them (Clarke, Power, Lambos) ends up being better than Dunn. Would rather have the chance at one of them than Dunn and Bozak (who we would probably flip for a 2/3 at the deadline)

Lol I came close do making one as well. A Dunn trade makes a ton of sense for NYR because he fits the timeline the team has set. Winning the lottery has moved your contention window up by a year or two- time to move some picks/prospects for proven young players that can fill holes
