While I agree that Pulock being moved is a significant possibility due to the NYI cap situation and their need to resign Barzal, I am not sure that would be the deal that does it. If the Leafs were to somehow find a way to make nice with Lou and get this done, I think there money would have to go out in a different deal. So for example, Dermott, Holl, Liljegren, 1st (2021) and a 2nd (2022) for Pulock I think would do it, and that would work relatively well to save the Islanders some much needed cap dough. Then the Leafs would have to move either Kerfoot + Engvall or possibly Nylander. I like the addition of Pulock in that defensive group. Overall, I think this team is still a work in progress. Dominos will continue to fall once Vegas starts making moves.

Pulock has more value than Nylander, Dermott is not worth 2 3rds and the Defense would be in even worse shambles losing Toews, Boychuk and Pulock
