They're flipping the picks to shed JB and prob sign a forward. I do not hate it. Aho can be a similar player. He was a UDFA that only Trotz loved and turned into gold. I'm ok with it.

He’s by far our best offensive defenseman. No one to QB the 1st unit. This was a straight up fleece

I'm so upset. I'm a Quinnipiac alum and I loved Toews in college and on NYI. He'll be really good in Coloardo. Damn it, this really hurts. This really really hurts.

He was a 4th round pick but drafted after his 20-year old freshman season.

Brutal trade for the Islanders IMO. Toews is a legitimate top pairing LHD. Just proves how tough it is to move salary these days, otherwise I would have bet on Leddy being the one going from that side of the defense. Two seconds are nice but with the way Colorado is set up they are going to be deep deep seconds.
