That could be... but there is always a decent amount of managerial incompetence in this league so it could be that as well haha. I think he's been a pretty good bottom sixer and he's good on the dot so someone might as well give him a shot.

I'm reading up more on him now. He has been a team Captain, led his team in scoring in international play, played for his country on numerous occasions, was a very late birthday in his draft year. Improved to a 1.22 points per game in the AHL, in 45 games, and improved in Carolina from 4th line production to 3rd line production, and is defensively responsible. Compared to Backlund, and to Backstrom upper end. The only real negative I've read is his skating, lacks a little speed and acceleration. I wonder if he's faster than Mark Stone?
