Haula/Brassard/Soderberg are decent choice for 1 year. Maybe Perry. Not sure Duclair is a favorite of Bergevin. Gauthier/Boyle as 13th forward

I avoid Hoffman if it's + 1 year contract too IMO (unless a bargain in the 4m range)

Haula is 29.I wouldnt call that old. Even with his injury history, he still has at least 2 years in him. That would be perfect for on a cap management point of view.

IMO Brassard and Soderberg are not upgrades on Byron. Pass.

Even if I have a sweet spot for Evans, Gauthier would still be an upgrade on the 4th line.good on faceoffs, grit and french. Good fit. Also Evans needs to put on some muscles, every time he is called back, he ends up with an injury.

And yeah Toffoli/Hoffman/Dandonov would need to be a one year thing.
