Description

Keep in mind, the title says ideal. This is all conjecture and wishful thinking; not something I think will/should/can happen realistically in todays, cap-strapped COVID NHL. Hickey is also a good trade option, he's better than most people think he's just been relegated to the AHL since the Isles have a surplus of LD and a cap problem, but for now he fits well in that top-6 pairing with Dobson. Some mentoring potential there.

I think this could work for the Devils. Hate to be trading to a divisional rival, but the Sens don't want Boychuk, and the Devils are the only team that, I think, would be even close to willing to take this contract in full for the next 2 years.
