Kyle Clifford a signé un contrat de 2 ans d'une valeur de 2 000 000 $ avec les Blues de St-Louis, le 11 oct. 2020. Le contrat comporte un cap hit de 1 000 000 $.
Apparently the Leafs offered more than $1M on a 3 year term. So either Clifford thinks the chance to win in St. Louis is substantially better, or he over estimated his ability to get a bigger contract and ended up losing out on the offer after Simmonds was signed.
Good value but I don't get it from St Louis perspective unless trades are coming. I guess he's better than de la Rose but I feel like this gives them about 15-16 NHL forwards
Not really, Tampering would be if he gets immediately traded. Even then NHL wont do anything as there would be little proof. In general for the 2022 season Dubas can go to St louis and trade for clifford saving him a 2nd and getting him on a 1mill cap hit.

Pretty Sure De La Rose is out Steen is apparently injured and it’s not getting any better so it’s believed he might be retiring. Rumors are Barbashev and Bozak might be out of the lineup to do it’s some big changes.

See I'm not up on St Louis rumours so that explains things. Thanks.
