If I’m the Leafs I’m not moving Engvall unless it’s a desperate situation. I think his lower cap hit and upside for that cap hit makes him the perfect bottom 6 guy on a cap crunch team.

I mean hes also a lot better of a player than Matheson... You literally just traded Hornqvist (another bad contract) for Matheson, and now you want the B's best prospect and a 2nd for him.

I think it has less to do about the contract, and more to do with the fact Studnicka has been a non starter in 90% of the trades the bruins have been rumored in.
