Description

Holy hell do I like the looks of this. Don't necessarily want to trade Donskoi, but the skill and depth of this forward group is nuts. Back end is really good too (could be Timmins or Byram who slots it, depending on who shows better).

Saad most likely walks after the year if Hall signs for two, but otherwise it works.

Most likely. They fought for that extra $1M in cap space the Hawks retained though, so I have to assume they are still thinking about adding somewhere.

I'm hoping for Hall until it's a certainty that he's going elsewhere.

Probably but I hope they are still open to it. Like I said above, that retention on Saad makes me think there are still some balls in the air.

yah i think there is still some depth signings to go. jost is the big question mark now. but once you sign some depth and account for bonuses the avs are pretty much done.

Unless my understanding is incorrect, bonuses are not a factor at all, as they are well below the allowable figure of $5m (iirc).

I have been wrong before, but that's my understanding. Someone can feel free to edumacate me if I'm off.
