Not sure if Fast is the play if he's gonna cost that much, I think we just need a 4th liner for 1mil or less that can play some PK (Rieder woulda been great but alas). Blais trade is interesting, I liked his physicality last year, solid energy guy at the very least, not sure how much offensive upside he has. Probably gonna have to get a Blues fan to chime in if that's reasonable or not. I do think we run a 23-man roster though, which is why I think we pass on Fast if he costs more than 1.5. I don't mind the Barrie signing, I liked it when Gus was running PP1 as it allows us to manage Gio's minutes better so he's more effective come playoffs. Barrie can take over that role, I know he's lacking defensively but hopefully he can find his game again in a reduced role but still on PP1.
